Is Jesus Elohim? Part 4

Is Jesus Elohim? Yeshua and the Father as One, continued:

Mal 2:10 "Do we not all have one father? Has not one God created us? Why do we deal treacherously each against his brother so as to profane the covenant of our fathers?

[Note: The emphasis here is One Father, One God!]

1Cor 15:16 For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been raised;
1Cor 15:17 and if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins.
1Cor 15:18 Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished.
1Cor 15:19 If we have hoped in Christ in this life only, we are of all men most to be pitied.
1Cor 15:20 But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who are asleep.

[Note: Most Christians do not recognize the supreme importance of The Feasts of Yehovah. It is my contention that you cannot understand the B'rit Hadashah without knowing something about The Feasts! Yeshua is the First Fruit and don't forget, many were raised with Him! (Matt 27) Please notice, Yeshua is "the first fruits of those who are asleep", meaning He is the first to be raised from the dead, as the first fruits! Yes, the Bible has examples of other people being raised from the dead before Christ was, but Who is the first to be raised and then ascended to Heaven, the Heaven where The Father reigns? Yeshua! This is not the time to get into a doctrinal argument over what happens when we die, but this seems to lend support to the idea that we are "asleep" in Christ - waiting.]

1Cor 15:21 For since by a man came death, by a man also came the resurrection of the dead.
1Cor 15:22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.
1Cor 15:23 But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, after that those who are Christ's at His coming,
1Cor 15:24 then comes the end, when He [Yeshua] hands over the kingdom to the God and Father [Yehovah], when He [Yeshua] has abolished all rule and all authority and power.
1Cor 15:25 For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet.
1Cor 15:26 The last enemy that will be abolished is death.
1Cor 15:27 For HE HAS PUT ALL THINGS IN SUBJECTION UNDER HIS FEET. But when He says, "All things are put in subjection," it is evident that He is excepted who put all things in subjection to Him.
1Cor 15:28 When all things are subjected to Him, then the Son Himself also will be subjected to the One [Yehovah] who subjected all things to Him, so that God may be all in all.

[Note: Now hold on Tiger! You have just shown that Yeshua and Yehovah are two separate individuals! Yes, again, for me this simply shows the duality of God. Remember, Yeshua IS the very image of God. This selection also shows that we await the Resurrection so we may reign with Yeshua in the Millenium. When? At His coming!]

Folks, I can't help but include some verses showing Yeshua in the Tanakh!

Jer 23:1 "Woe to the shepherds who are destroying and scattering the sheep of My pasture!" declares the LORD.
Jer 23:2 Therefore thus says the LORD God of Israel concerning the shepherds who are tending My people: "You have scattered My flock and driven them away, and have not attended to them; behold, I am about to attend to you for the evil of your deeds," declares the LORD.

[Note: Tremble and shudder Pastors, Priests, and Rabbis, for the even demons do so! For You are Not preaching the Word. You are promoting Your man-made traditions and doctrine!]

Jer 23:3 "Then I Myself will gather the remnant of My flock out of all the countries where I have driven them and bring them back to their pasture, and they will be fruitful and multiply.
Jer 23:4 "I will also raise up shepherds over them and they will tend them; and they will not be afraid any longer, nor be terrified, nor will any be missing," declares the LORD.
Jer 23:5 "Behold, the days are coming," declares the LORD, "When I will raise up for David a righteous Branch [a Tsemach, a Netzer, the Root of Jesse - Yeshua]; And He will reign as king and act wisely And do justice and righteousness in the land.
Jer 23:6 "In His days Judah will be saved, And Israel will dwell securely; And this is His name by which He will be called, 'The LORD our righteousness.' [literally, Yehovah's Tzedeck, you know, like The King of Righteousness, The Malki-Tzedeck.]

Zec 12:9 "And in that day I will set about to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
Zec 12:10 "I will pour out on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and of supplication, so that they will look on Me whom they have pierced; and they will mourn for Him [Yeshua], as one mourns for an only son, and they will weep bitterly over Him [Yeshua] like the bitter weeping over a firstborn.

[Note: When you read Chapter 12 in Zechariah it refers to the LORD [Yehovah] doing these things! It almost seems Yehovah is saying, "they will look on Me [Yehovah] whom they pierced"! And will mourn for "Him" [Yeshua], who is the One who was pierced! I don't know about you, folks, but this sort of thing amazes me! The topic of the "Branch" deserves a whole study in itself! Here's a small example.]

Zec 6:9 The word of the LORD also came to me, saying,
Zec 6:10 "Take an offering from the exiles, from Heldai, Tobijah and Jedaiah; and you go the same day and enter the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah, where they have arrived from Babylon.
Zec 6:11 "Take silver and gold, make an ornate crown and set it on the head of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest.
Zec 6:12 "Then say to him, 'Thus says the LORD of hosts, "Behold, a man whose name is Branch, for He will branch out from where He is; and He will build the temple of the LORD.

[Note: This illustrative event's purpose was to prophetically show Joshua and his contemporaries that a Righteous King would, in the end times, rule over them. This is the context we are dealing with here. Even the actual name of the future King is used! What is the name? Joshua, in Hebrew, is Yehoshua, or in Jesus' time pronounced, Yeshua! So, here is Jesus' actual name being used in the Tanahk in a prophecy about the reign of a Righteous King in the end times!]

Col 2:9 For in Him [Yeshua] dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;
Col 2:10 and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.

Matt 11:25 At that time Jesus answered and said, "I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes.
Matt 11:26 Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight.
Matt 11:27 All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.

Folks, I hoped you enjoy all of these verses in this blog series. As stated before, I'm not trying to convince others of my personal doctrine, but these verses (there are more, actually) serve to convince me that Yeshua and Yehovah are One!

Here's the final rub!

If you are a Jewish person, and you take the risk of actually reading the Tanahk, instead of listening to your Rabbi, you will find Yeshua (Jesus) described in it. And hopefully, like me, you will discover that He [Yehovah] is One with Yeshua.

If you are Christian person, and you have discovered Jesus (Yeshua) in the Old Testament, then why haven't you been following the Sabbath, why haven't you been celebrating the Feasts, why have you listened to men and not Yehovah-Yeshua?

Shalom!

Postscript, Aug. 23, 2014: Something came to mind that should be included with this! What does the New Testament say about antichrists?

1Jn_2:18 Children, it is the last hour; and just as you heard that antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have appeared; from this we know that it is the last hour.
1Jn_2:22 Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son.
1Jn_4:3 and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world.
2Jn_1:7 For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh [who's flesh? - Yehovah's]. This is the deceiver and the antichrist.

[Note: Yeshua is not only Yehovah's flesh, but He is also Miriam's flesh, right? Therefore showing once more, Two becoming One. Husband and Wife become One! Their children are One, etc. !]
