The famous preacher David Wilkerson gave this sermon years ago. This is only 7 minutes of it. I beg of you, those in the Church - do away with your pagan traditions, return to the sanctified Sabbath, return to Yehovah's Feasts, return to ALL of Torah, set yourselves apart from the world, and do not accept compromise!
I said previously I would not worry about inferences. But, before leaving Matthew, I simply must address this set of verses: Mat 7:21"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. Mat 7:22"Many will say to Me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?' Mat 7:23"And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS (ANOMIA).'
[Note: The Greek word "anomia" is very significant. The prefix alpha, in Greek, means "without". And "nomia" is of the same root as "nomos". To practice anomia is to transgress and be without TORAH! Folks, this our LORD Jesus saying this! And the Church and it's leaders want me to believe Torah has been done away with? Sorry, I believe God, not man. Please notice, it is he who DOES the will of the Father. What has the Father willed? TORAH! And how many people have heard this set of verses mentioned in a Church? Not many, would be my guess.]
In Part 1 we introduced the Greek word "Nomos" which really should be Torah. The ridiculous thing is that our English translations use the word "Law". It's ridiculous because "Torah" actually means, "Instruction", not "Law"! Of course, there is "Law" in the Tanakh - it's called the Big 10, or, The 10 Commandments, as we refer to them today. Most Christians don't understand that Torah is not a man-made collection of legalistic requirements, but instead, is a list of instructions on how to live a good, healthy, holy (set apart) life. These instructions are also called "commandments", or in Hebrew, "mitzvot". If you love Him, you will keep His mitzvot (commandments) (Read John 14).
People will argue that it's impossible to do everything in Torah, not because it's hard, necessarily, but because there is no Temple, no Aaronic Priesthood, etc. This is true! Many of the mitzvot in Torah only apply to women, some to men, some to animals, some to Priests, etc. The Aaronic Priesthood was suspended and Yeshua was given to us as a Malki-Tzedeck Priest, not Aaronic, partly because He is not a Levite. We also cannot "keep" (a precise legal term) the Feasts properly because we can't all travel to Jerusalem every year and yes, there is no Temple (yet!). Instead, we celebrate the Feasts as a remembrance and as prophecies yet to be fulfilled (there's that word again). We don't need to do sacrifices because Jesus became our propitiation (Romans 3). The blood of animals never cleansed our sins anyway (Hebrews 10)! We also do not live under a Theocracy where we take Adulterers outside the city limits and stone them!
But guess what! During the Millennial Reign ALL of Torah returns! To be enforced, btw, with an iron rod (Psalms 2, Revelation 2, Revelation 19) . The survivors of the horrid Great Tribulation to come must have an animal sacrifice in order to be near the reigning God on earth. I would presume that the "Saints", both Jew and Gentile, who reign with Yeshua, would not need an animal sacrifice.
The real question becomes; which of Torah's instructions do you wish NOT to keep? An "anti-Torah" attitude shows an enmity against Yehovah-Yeshua and His instructions (Romans 8), which we all have. Even the Jews know that none are justified by the works of the law (Romans 3, Galatians 2, Galatians 3)! So, why try to keep Torah if it does no good work for our salvation? We try out of OBEDIENCE and LOVE! (Many biblical references here) For if we love Him, we will obey His commandments (John 14, 1 John 2). If we don't we are LIARS!
Luk 2:21 And when eight days had passed, before His circumcision, His name was then called Jesus, the name given by the angel before He was conceived in the womb. Luk_2:22 And when the days for their purification according to the law [Nomos] of Moses were completed, they brought Him up to Jerusalem to present Him to the Lord Luk_2:23 (as it is written in the Law [Nomos] of the Lord, "EVERY firstborn MALE THAT OPENS THE WOMB SHALL BE CALLED HOLY TO THE LORD"), Luk_2:24 and to offer a sacrifice according to what was said in the Law [Nomos] of the Lord, "A PAIR OF TURTLEDOVES OR TWO YOUNG PIGEONS."
[Note: "... when eight days had passed". A Hebrew child is not named until 8 days, and then he is circumcised (Leviticus 12, Philippians 3). Please notice how the word "law" is not capitalized when referring to Moses and is when referring to the Lord - yet, it's the same word! This is called translator bias! Also, please notice how care is taken to fulfill the instructions of "Nomos" (Torah).
Now ... is circumcision required for Salvation (meaning for us, not Jesus)? No! Of course not! Later on, a battle takes place over this issue. I will cover that in due time.
However, how do you think Yehovah sees this circumcision instruction? Go read Exodus 4. Yehovah was ready to kill Moshe!
Most Christians teach that there is Mosaic law and God's Law. God's Law being the Big 10 and Moses' law being what he (Moses) was instructed to write down - by God, btw! Then these Christians will then tell you that the 4th Commandment (Sabbath worship) has been changed! They simply don't understand that they have just nullified God's immutable Law AND any inspired "Law" written down by Moshe! Imagine going to Leviticus 23 and reading Yehovah's instructions on keeping the Feasts, but then deciding He really didn't mean it for Christians! This is eisegesis to the extreme, folks! Another issue that arises here is the validity of Manuscript families (which are copies of copies of copies). Manuscript Linguists will tell you that man has altered manuscripts over the years. When you are building a "Church" based on pagan concepts it helps to alter manuscript copies to suit your purpose. This is another one of those subjects that have literally hundreds of books written about it! Btw, which manuscripts are almost 100% accurate throughout history? Why, the ones for the Tanakh, of course! They exist on Torah Scrolls. We owe a great debt to our Jewish Brothers for this!] ... Note - from this point on, "Nomos" will be the Greek word used for "law" and "Law", unless otherwise noted.
Luk_2:27 And he came in the Spirit into the temple; and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to carry out for Him the custom of the Law, ... Luk_2:39 When they had performed everything according to the Law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee, to their own city of Nazareth.
[Note: Yeshua (w/family) continue to abide by Torah. Please notice, this is referring to the "Nomos of the Lord", the Torah of the Lord. Do you really want to say Torah has been nailed to the Cross?]
Luk_5:17 One day He was teaching; and there were some Pharisees and teachers of the law [see below] sitting there, who had come from every village of Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem; and the power of the Lord was present for Him to perform healing. Luk 5:18 And some men were carrying on a bed a man who was paralyzed; and they were trying to bring him in and to set him down in front of Him. Luk 5:19 But not finding any way to bring him in because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and let him down through the tiles with his stretcher, into the middle of the crowd, in front of Jesus. Luk 5:20 Seeing their faith, He said, "Friend, your sins are forgiven you." Luk 5:21 The scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, "Who is this manwho speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?" Luk 5:22 But Jesus, aware of their reasonings, answered and said to them, "Why are you reasoning in your hearts? Luk 5:23"Which is easier, to say, 'Your sins have been forgiven you,' or to say, 'Get up and walk'? Luk 5:24"But, so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins,"--He said to the paralytic--"I say to you, get up, and pick up your stretcher and go home." Luk 5:25 Immediately he got up before them, and picked up what he had been lying on, and went home glorifying God. Luk 5:26 They were all struck with astonishment and beganglorifying God; and they were filled with fear, saying, "We have seen remarkable things today."
[Note: Additional verses are included here for context. Two very important issues are addressed here. One, it is true that only God can forgive sin (Yehovah-Yeshua), and Two, Jesus had the man clearly disobey Pharisaical Takanot by telling the man to "work" by carrying his bedroll home! (The implication being that this could have been a Sabbath) We will find that Yeshua never denies or breaks Torah, but instead, breaks every man-made rule He can! He is showing man that man's religion is nothing, and that Yehovah's instructions are everything! In the West we think "cot" or "stretcher", but in the Middle East perspective it was most likely a bedroll. The word "law" in verse 17 is actually, "nomodidaskalos", which means teacher of the law, or Rabbi.]
Luk 10:25 And a lawyer [nomikos - an expert in Torah, most likely a Levite]stood up and put Him to the test, saying, "Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?" Luk 10:26 And He said to him, "What is written in the Law? How does it read to you?" Luk 10:27 And he answered, "YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND; AND YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF." Luk 10:28 And He said to him, "You have answered correctly; DO THIS AND YOU WILL LIVE." Luk 10:29 But wishing to justify himself, he said to Jesus, "And who is my neighbor?" Luk 10:30 Jesus replied and said, "A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among robbers, and they stripped him and beat him, and went away leaving him half dead. Luk 10:31"And by chance a priest was going down on that road, and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. Luk 10:32"Likewise a Levite also, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. Luk 10:33"But a Samaritan, who was on a journey, came upon him; and when he saw him, he felt compassion, Luk 10:34and came to him and bandaged up his wounds, pouring oil and wine on them; and he put him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn and took care of him. Luk 10:35"On the next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper and said, 'Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, when I return I will repay you.' Luk 10:36"Which of these three do you think proved to be a neighbor to the man who fell into the robbers' hands?" Luk 10:37 And he said, "The one who showed mercy toward him." Then Jesus said to him, "Go and do the same."
[Note: This parable is a wonderful illustration of legalistically following man's rules versus following Torah. Samaritans were hated by the "Jews" and they were considered to be dogs. Gentiles, or Pagans, were thought to be even worse! Rabbis taught many rules concerning the interaction between the groups. Some of these "rules" exist today, in the Talmud and other writings. So, Yeshua has the good Samaritan living Torah while the Levite does not, thus showing that Torah is something to be lived and done in your daily life - no matter WHO you are! It is my hope that my Christian brothers and sisters notice this!]
I wish everyone to have a wonderful Thanksgiving, if you celebrate the holiday! And the Best to All of You and Yours! - Tiger
In American English, when people say, "it's time to lay down the law", it means it's time to establish the ground rules, time to articulate that "yes" means yes and "no" means no! It DOES NOT mean, "to set something aside".
I will attempt to lay down the law with the New Testament (New Covenant or B'rit Hadashah) textually, as it relates to the word "law". This word is so misused and so mistranslated by mainstream Churchianity that it's time to do this. It will take more than a few blogs, so please bear with me.
When using the NASB, the search tool in e-Sword gives 224 occurrences of the word in 170 verses. Obviously, all 224 do not need to be covered. Some uses involve a "mother-in-law", etc. So, these uses won't be dealt with, unless it is applicable to the effort - which is to establish when one is speaking in context of Torah (Law), man's rules (law), man's behavior (law), or an academic paradigm (law) that is being used to illustrate or describe an idea or interaction with the "law". What I am not doing, because it would take volumes, is to include inferences to the law. An example would be the use of the word, "righteousness". Righteousness actually means, "Right Standing in Torah" (the Law)!
I will be using Strong's Hebrew and Greek dictionary. Let's get started!
Mat_5:17"Do not think that I came to abolish the Law[Nomos] or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill. Mat_5:18"For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke shall pass from the Law[Nomos] until all is accomplished.
[Note: "Nomos" is the Greek word used here. It means the entirety of what Yehovah has written, what Moses has written, and what Yeshua has spoken/written. It contains the Torah, the totality of the Tanakh, and, of course, the New Testament, because most all of the B'rit Hadashah is a repeat of the Tanakh. In an effort to deny Torah, some have claimed it means only what Moses has declared. The very context of what Yeshua is saying here denies that idea. Also, if one can say Moses was not inspired by God, you may as well toss your Bible in the trash. Here is a short video explaining how the Tanakh and the New Testament are the same. These verses in Matthew are from the fabled Sermon on the Mount, which, when studied and researched, is a declaration by Yeshua of what the Tanakh says! The "smallest letter or stroke", the KJV says "jots and tittles", refers to the ornate calligraphy used in a Torah scroll and ancient biblical script.
"Do not think ..." - Unfortunately the Church has adopted this as their motto. Yeshua is adamantly telling us here, "whatever you do, DO NOTBELIEVEANYONE who says I have come to DENYTorah or the Prophets!" This declarative statement by Yeshua should have mainstream Christian Pastors and Priests shaking in their boots and wetting their pants! This statement should also be a warning clarion to all pew-sitters listening to their denominations tell them Torah has been nailed to the Cross!
"I did not come to abolish but to fulfill." "Fulfill" is another one of those misused words. The Greek "pleroo" means to completely fill up. In English one can say to "fill full". Imagine a glass of water on a counter, half full. To "fulfill" it is to take a pitcher of water and literally fill the glass to the top - to the point of overflowing! Our Covenant with God (Yeshua) is all about filling up to it's ultimate fullness. This includes Torah, which will ultimately be filled at the end of the millennial reign! Fulfill DOES NOT mean, "to bring to an end"! (Here is a great short video explaining the word)
"... until all is accomplished." When does this happen? Read Jeremiah 31 and you'll discover it's at the end of the millennium! Most Christians don't even realize that The New Covenant is in the process of being fulfilled.
Mat_7:12"In everything, therefore, treat people the same way you want them to treat you, for this is the Law[Nomos] and the Prophets.
[Note: What sense does it make to acknowledge that Torah is the guide for the proper treatment of your fellow human beings, whilst denying Torah is still applicable today? Interestingly, the verse following this one mentions the "narrow gate" we must take. Did you know - Torah is part of that narrow gate!?!]
Mat_11:13"For all the prophets and the Law[Nomos] prophesied until John.
[Note: The context here is Jesus speaking of his "messenger sent ahead - to prepare the way" - John. Now would be a good time to illustrate what some folks do with scripture. People have quoted this verse to me and have said, "after John came to proclaim Jesus, the Torah was not needed anymore!" Not only does this sentiment deny scripture but it makes Jesus a liar (who proceeded to live out Torah perfectly). There are two distinct ways of interpreting scripture. One is called, Exegesis. The other is called, Eisegesis. Exegesis is when the reader relies upon the actual annotative meaning of the words presented and does not add to or take away from their meaning. It uses critical thinking. It takes the written words in context. This method is very biblical (see Deut. 4:2). Eisegesis is when the reader adds to the text an interpretation based on his or her own wishes, bias, and ideas. This is NOT biblical! One can easily destroy context by using this method. Most Pastors, Priests, and Rabbis are Eisegesis types.]
Mat_12:5"Or have you not read in the Law [Nomos], that on the Sabbath the priests in the temple break the Sabbath and are innocent?
[Note: The Pharisees are complaining that Yeshua's followers are breaking man's rules and Yeshua reminds them of the time when David entered the Tabernacle and ate the Showbread and that Priests actually "work" on the Sabbath. Jesus goes on to remind them that He is Lord of the Sabbath. Yeshua always spoke out against man's rules, but not His rules (Torah). Context is everything when reading the Bible and healing a man on the Sabbath is not breaking Torah. Please notice - nowhere does Jesus deny Torah or His Sabbath, yet, man will deny Torah and tell you the Sabbath is on a pagan day - Sunday. Who do you listen to? Man or God?]
Mat_22:36 "Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law [Nomos]?" ... Mat_22:40"On these two commandments depend the whole Law[Nomos]and the Prophets."
[Note: Yeshua is repeating here what has already been stated in Torah, love the LORD God with all your heart , soul, and mind and love your neighbor as yourself. This declaration DOES NOT make Torah redundant! This is a summation of what Torah represents. To think otherwise is a liberal use of eisegesis and a denial of God's Word.]
Mat_23:23"Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint and dill and cummin, and have neglected the weightier provisions of the law [Nomos]: justice and mercy and faithfulness; but these are the things you should have done without neglecting the others.
[Note: Ever notice that Preachers will tell you Torah has been nailed to the Cross - EXCEPT the part where 10% should be given to them! That's what "tithe" means! Once again, Yeshua is condemning man's misuse of Torah, not Torah!]
I'll stop here. The book of Matthew has been gone through. It gets very interesting the deeper we get into it. Please notice that although the manuscripts say "Nomos", which corresponds to Torah, our most beloved translators (sarcasm) chose to use the word "law". This is called bias, folks! Bias against Jews. What they don't realize is that this is bias against God Himself!
I believe wholeheartedly in the inerrant Word of God! I do not believe in the errant translations of men!
Are you a Christian that gets upset when you hear the likes of me speak of Christmas and Easter as pagan worship days? Does it bother you when I say Torah has NOT been nailed to the cross and we must still try our best to adhere to it, out of obedience and love, not for any reward? By rejecting the plain truth of scripture are you rejecting Christ?
Have you ever thought about where the Covenant came from? Did you know Yehovah-Yeshua has a Blood Covenant with us? Do you take your part in the Covenant seriously? Or, are you just worshipping in a deluded world of man's tradition?
The 119 Ministries boys have produced a wonderful short video on this subject. I have inserted a few verses to help set up this vid. Please pay close attention and consider everything prayerfully. (The Threshold Covenant vid)
Gen 15:1 After these things the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision: "Fear not, Abram, I am your shield; your reward shall be very great." Gen 15:2 But Abram said, "O Lord GOD, what will you give me, for I continue childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?" Gen 15:3 And Abram said, "Behold, you have given me no offspring, and a member of my household will be my heir." Gen 15:4 And behold, the word of the LORD came to him: "This man shall not be your heir; your very own son shall be your heir." Gen 15:5 And he brought him outside and said, "Look toward heaven, and number the stars, if you are able to number them." Then he said to him, "So shall your offspring be."
[Note: These offspring are us! They are the Chosen people and all the "grafted in" unnatural branches. How any Minister can teach the Church has replaced these words of God are beyond my comprehension! It is Satanic to teach Replacement Theology!] Gen 15:6 And he believed the LORD, and he counted it to him as righteousness. Gen 15:7 And he said to him, "I am the LORD who brought you out from Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land to possess." Gen 15:8 But he said, "O Lord GOD, how am I to know that I shall possess it?" Gen 15:9 He said to him, "Bring me a heifer three years old, a female goat three years old, a ram three years old, a turtledove, and a young pigeon." Gen 15:10 And he brought him all these, cut them in half, and laid each half over against the other. But he did not cut the birds in half. Gen 15:11 And when birds of prey came down on the carcasses, Abram drove them away. Gen 15:12 As the sun was going down, a deep sleep fell on Abram. And behold, dreadful and great darkness fell upon him.
[Note: Abram was placed in a deep sleep by Yehovah. To see Yehovah directly (in the state He was to appear) meant death for Abram.] Gen 15:13 Then the LORD said to Abram, "Know for certain that your offspring will be sojourners in a land that is not theirs and will be servants there, and they will be afflicted for four hundred years. Gen 15:14 But I will bring judgment on the nation that they serve, and afterward they shall come out with great possessions. Gen 15:15 As for you, you shall go to your fathers in peace; you shall be buried in a good old age. Gen 15:16 And they shall come back here in the fourth generation, for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet complete." Gen 15:17 When the sun had gone down and it was dark, behold, a smoking fire pot and a flaming torch passed between these pieces.
[Note: This is Yehovah passing between the pieces!] Gen 15:18 On that day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, "To your offspring I give this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the river Euphrates,
[Note: Does Israel have possession of all the land between the river Nile, in Egypt, to the river Euphrates, in Iraq? No, and never has, so this is a future prophecy!] Gen 15:19 the land of the Kenites, the Kenizzites, the Kadmonites, Gen 15:20 the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Rephaim, Gen 15:21 the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Girgashites and the Jebusites."
[Note: Did you ever wonder why the Israelites were ordered to go into the Promised Land and kill everything; men, women. children, and animals? Is Yehovah a murderous genocidal masochist? No, it's because theses "ites" contained Nephilim DNA! Remember the Flood? All flesh became corrupted! Gen Ch. 5-9. Gen 6:4 mentions the Nephilim. Later, after the Flood, in Num 13 they appear again. Will altered DNA be the Mark of the Beast? - Just a thought!]
Heb 10:26 For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, Heb 10:27 but a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries. Heb 10:28 Anyone who has set aside the law of Moses dies without mercy on the evidence of two or three witnesses. Heb 10:29 How much worse punishment, do you think, will be deserved by the one who has trampled underfoot the Son of God, and has profaned the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has outraged the Spirit of grace? Heb 10:30 For we know him who said, "Vengeance is mine; I will repay." And again, "The Lord will judge his people." Heb 10:31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
Yeshua did not bring an end to Torah, the Feasts, or the Law (10 Commandments). To believe otherwise is to forsake the Covenant and Jesus! For example, Sunday worship is breaking the Law! Please keep this in mind as you watch this clarifying video.
After watching the vid, do you still believe these things, like the Sabbath and Feasts, are unimportant? What about Torah? Here's another vid for that!
Sukkot is most likely the time when Jesus was born and "tabernacled" with us. He will tabernacle with us again just after the 2nd Coming. This is the very reason we celebrate the Fall Feasts; to rehearse Teruah (2nd Coming), Atonements (Repentance/Judgment), and Sukkot (Tabernacle with us on Earth). Now is a good time to remind ourselves that celebrating under a green tree has nothing to do with Christ!
Have you ever noticed? September is called the 9th month on our "normal" pagan Gregorian calendar, but "Septe" means 7! October is the 10th month but "Octo" means 8. November is called the 11th month but "Nove" is 9. And, of course, December is the 12th month but "Dece" means 10!
Don't you see how Yehovah's calendar is the original and we have simply gotten away from it by following man, instead of God??
If you wish to understand the B'rit Hadashah and the Tanakh, you MUST understand the Feasts of Yehovah! Here is the first video of each set which gives a wonderful view of Yom Teruah, Yom HaKippurim, and Sukkot - the upcoming Fall Feasts. And yes, ALL Christians should be celebrating these Feasts! You will not understand the End Times without the Fall Feasts. This fellow does a great job dove-tailing the Old and New Testaments. Please watch them all in sequence - it's well worth your time! - Enjoy!
Is Jesus Elohim? Yeshua and the Father as One, continued:
Mal 2:10 "Do we not all have one father? Has not one God created us? Why do we deal treacherously each against his brother so as to profane the covenant of our fathers?
[Note: The emphasis here is One Father, One God!] 1Cor 15:16 For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been raised; 1Cor 15:17 and if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins. 1Cor 15:18 Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. 1Cor 15:19 If we have hoped in Christ in this life only, we are of all men most to be pitied. 1Cor 15:20 But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who are asleep.
[Note: Most Christians do not recognize the supreme importance of The Feasts of Yehovah. It is my contention that you cannot understand the B'rit Hadashah without knowing something about The Feasts! Yeshua is the First Fruit and don't forget, many were raised with Him! (Matt27) Please notice, Yeshua is "the first fruits of those who are asleep", meaning He is the first to be raised from the dead, as the first fruits! Yes, the Bible has examples of other people being raised from the dead before Christ was, but Who is the first to be raised and then ascended to Heaven, the Heaven where The Father reigns? Yeshua! This is not the time to get into a doctrinal argument over what happens when we die, but this seems to lend support to the idea that we are "asleep" in Christ - waiting.]
1Cor 15:21 For since by a man came death, by a man also came the resurrection of the dead. 1Cor 15:22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. 1Cor 15:23 But each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, after that those who are Christ's at His coming, 1Cor 15:24 then comes the end, when He [Yeshua] hands over the kingdom to the God and Father [Yehovah], when He[Yeshua] has abolished all rule and all authority and power. 1Cor 15:25 For He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet. 1Cor 15:26 The last enemy that will be abolished is death. 1Cor 15:27 For HE HAS PUT ALL THINGS IN SUBJECTION UNDER HIS FEET. But when He says, "All things are put in subjection," it is evident that He is excepted who put all things in subjection to Him. 1Cor 15:28 When all things are subjected to Him, then the Son Himself also will be subjected to the One[Yehovah] who subjected all things to Him, so that God may be all in all.
[Note: Now hold on Tiger! You have just shown that Yeshua and Yehovah are two separate individuals! Yes, again, for me this simply shows the duality of God. Remember, Yeshua IS the very image of God. This selection also shows that we await the Resurrection so we may reign with Yeshua in the Millenium. When? At His coming!]
Folks, I can't help but include some verses showing Yeshua in the Tanakh!
Jer 23:1 "Woe to the shepherds who are destroying and scattering the sheep of My pasture!" declares the LORD. Jer 23:2 Therefore thus says the LORD God of Israel concerning the shepherds who are tending My people: "You have scattered My flock and driven them away, and have not attended to them; behold, I am about to attend to you for the evil of your deeds," declares the LORD.
[Note: Tremble and shudder Pastors, Priests, and Rabbis, for the even demons do so! For You are Not preaching the Word. You are promoting Your man-made traditions and doctrine!]
Jer 23:3 "Then I Myself will gather the remnant of My flock out of all the countries where I have driven them and bring them back to their pasture, and they will be fruitful and multiply. Jer 23:4 "I will also raise up shepherds over them and they will tend them; and they will not be afraid any longer, nor be terrified, nor will any be missing," declares the LORD. Jer 23:5 "Behold, the days are coming," declares the LORD, "When I will raise up for David a righteous Branch [a Tsemach, a Netzer, the Root of Jesse - Yeshua]; And He will reign as king and act wisely And do justice and righteousness in the land. Jer 23:6 "In His days Judah will be saved, And Israel will dwell securely; And this is His name by which He will be called, 'The LORD our righteousness.' [literally, Yehovah's Tzedeck, you know, like The King of Righteousness, The Malki-Tzedeck.]
Zec 12:9 "And in that day I will set about to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. Zec 12:10 "I will pour out on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and of supplication, so that they will look on Me whom they have pierced; and they will mourn for Him [Yeshua], as one mourns for an only son, and they will weep bitterly over Him[Yeshua] like the bitter weeping over a firstborn.
[Note: When you read Chapter 12 in Zechariah it refers to the LORD [Yehovah] doing these things! It almost seems Yehovah is saying, "they will look on Me [Yehovah] whom they pierced"! And will mourn for "Him" [Yeshua], who is the One who was pierced! I don't know about you, folks, but this sort of thing amazes me! The topic of the "Branch" deserves a whole study in itself! Here's a small example.]
Zec 6:9 The word of the LORD also came to me, saying, Zec 6:10 "Take an offering from the exiles, from Heldai, Tobijah and Jedaiah; and you go the same day and enter the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah, where they have arrived from Babylon. Zec 6:11 "Take silver and gold, make an ornate crown and set it on the head of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest. Zec 6:12 "Then say to him, 'Thus says the LORD of hosts, "Behold, a man whose name is Branch, for Hewill branch out from where He is; and He will build the temple of the LORD.
[Note: This illustrative event's purpose was to prophetically show Joshua and his contemporaries that a Righteous King would, in the end times, rule over them. This is the context we are dealing with here. Even the actual name of the future King is used! What is the name? Joshua, in Hebrew, is Yehoshua, or in Jesus' time pronounced, Yeshua! So, here is Jesus' actual name being used in the Tanahk in a prophecy about the reign of a Righteous King in the end times!] Col 2:9 For in Him [Yeshua] dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; Col 2:10 and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.
Matt 11:25 At that time Jesus answered and said, "I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes. Matt 11:26 Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight. Matt 11:27All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.
Folks, I hoped you enjoy all of these verses in this blog series. As stated before, I'm not trying to convince others of my personal doctrine, but these verses (there are more, actually) serve to convince me that Yeshua and Yehovah are One!
Here's the final rub!
If you are a Jewish person, and you take the risk of actually reading the Tanahk, instead of listening to your Rabbi, you will find Yeshua (Jesus) described in it. And hopefully, like me, you will discover that He[Yehovah] is One with Yeshua.
If you are Christian person, and you have discovered Jesus (Yeshua) in the Old Testament, then why haven't you been following the Sabbath, why haven't you been celebrating the Feasts, why have you listened to men and not Yehovah-Yeshua?
Postscript, Aug. 23, 2014: Something came to mind that should be included with this! What does the New Testament say about antichrists?
1Jn_2:18 Children, it is the last hour; and just as you heard that antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have appeared; from this we know that it is the last hour.
1Jn_2:22 Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son.
1Jn_4:3 and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; this is thespirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world.
2Jn_1:7 For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh [who's flesh? - Yehovah's]. This is the deceiver and the antichrist.
[Note: Yeshua is not only Yehovah's flesh, but He is also Miriam's flesh, right? Therefore showing once more, Two becoming One. Husband and Wife become One! Their children are One, etc. !]
Is Jesus Elohim? Yeshua and the Father as One, or, the duality continues:
Please forgive the delay, folks. Life sometimes gets in the way of life, if you get my drift!
[Note: This first set of verses is so profound, I have to place my comments in brackets with the verses.]
Mic 5:1 "Now muster yourselves in troops, daughter of troops; They have laid siege against us; With a rod they will smite the judge of Israel on the cheek. [Yeshua] Mic 5:2 "But as for you, Bethlehem Ephrathah [Beit-lechem, House of Bread, sometimes referred to as like "Ephraim"- Bethlehem, the ancestral home of King David],Too little to be among the clans of Judah, From you One[Yeshua] will go forth for Me[Yehovah] to be ruler in Israel. His goings forth[Yeshua's] are from long ago, From the days of eternity [Jesus-Yeshua has been around forever]." Mic 5:3 Therefore He[Yeshua] will give them up until the time When she who is in laborhas borne a child [Miriam (Mary), the mother]. Then the remainder of His [Yeshua's] brethren Will return to the sons of Israel. [The return of Ephraim to Israel] Mic 5:4 And He [Yeshua] will arise and shepherd His flock In the strength of [Yehovah] the LORD, In the majesty of the name of [Yehovah] the LORD His God. And they will remain, Because at that time He[Yeshua] will be great To the ends of the earth. Mic 5:5 This One [Yeshua] will be our peace.
[Note: Wow! It makes you wonder, doesn't it? Why can't folks get it? It's because they are not hungry for the WORD. Study Hint; - do a word search for "hunger" in the entire Bible!]
Col 1:13 For He[Yehovah] rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, Col 1:14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. Col 1:15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. Col 1:16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities--all things have been created through Himand for Him. Col 1:17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. Col 1:18 He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything. Col 1:19 For it was the Father's good pleasure for all the fullness to dwell in Him, Col 1:20 and through Him to reconcile all things to Himself, having made peace through the blood of His cross; through Him, I say, whether things on earth or things in heaven.
[Note: He, Yeshua is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. I've had Jehovah's Witnesses say this verse is proof that Jesus is a created being, like an Angel. However, when ALL the text is read concerning the relationship between Yehovah and Yeshua it becomes clear that Jesus is the "presentation" of our Spirit Father, Yehovah, to His creation. Physical creation needs a physical image (of the Creator) to be able to even relate to it's Creator. That physical Creator presentation is Yeshua. Yeshua is much more than a creation! He is the very essence of FATHER GOD presented to us so we may relate. Look at the verse again in that light! "He is the imageof the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation." Please carefully read these verses, for this presentation of the Father is true in Heaven and on Earth, since the beginning!]
Psa 33:6 By the word of the LORD the heavens were made, And by the breath of His mouth all their host.
[Note: To be read in comparison with Colossians, shown above. Again, Yehovah and Yeshua are equated as One!]
Isa 52:10 The LORD has bared His holy arm In the sight of all the nations, That all the ends of the earth may see The salvation of our God.
[Note:Yehovah has been shown to the entire world, to the ends of the earth, "His holy arm". Who? The "Yeshua" or salvation of God!]
Psa 50:23 "He who offers a sacrifice of thanksgiving honors Me; And to him who orders his way aright I shall show the salvation of God."
Job 12:7 "But now ask the beasts, and let them teach you; And the birds of the heavens, and let them tell you. Job 12:8 "Or speak to the earth, and let it teach you; And let the fish of the sea declare to you. Job 12:9 "Who among all these does not know That the hand of the LORD has done this, Job 12:10 In whose hand is the life of every living thing, And the breath of all mankind?
[Note: Is this just imagery - "the hand of the LORD"? Or, is Yeshua that hand, in light of ALL scripture? This selection of verses remind me of Psalms 14 and Psalms 53, where it states that only a "fool" says there is no God. The word "fool" does not imply a stupid person, but a person who is so incapable of recognizing evil, either in himself or in the world around him, that he is totally corrupt and reprobate. You know, like those people supporting Terrorist HAMAS right now!] Mat 1:23 "BEHOLD, THE VIRGIN SHALL BE WITH CHILD AND SHALL BEAR A SON, AND THEY SHALL CALL HIS NAME IMMANUEL," which translated means, "GOD WITH US."
[Note: One cannot quote this verse in Matthew without mentioning Isaiah 7:14 and Isaiah 8:8. Please notice, the SON is called IMMANUEL, which means GOD WITH US! Now may be a good time to interject the argument that Yeshua and Yehovah cannot be One. My wife of 34 years, The Tigress, has asked me to present the following verses:
Mat 3:16 After being baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove and lighting on Him, Mat 3:17 and behold, a voice out of the heavens said, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased."
Mat 26:39 And He went a little beyond them, and fell on His face and prayed, saying, "My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as You will."
Mat 26:42 He went away again a second time and prayed, saying, "My Father, if this cannot pass away unless I drink it, Your will be done."
These verses, and there are many more, show Yeshua praying to Yehovah, obviously describing His Will versus Yeshua's Will, etc. The first verses show Yehovah proclaiming His Son! The implication here is that two separate entities cannot possibly be One. I will state without hesitation that from our human point of view, Yehovah would not be praying to Himself. It simply makes no sense! But remember, Scripture states that Jesus is FULLY MAN and FULLY GOD! (Yes, another study should be done!) This being the case, I have no problem with Man-Yeshua praying to Yehovah. I believe this is what we are seeing in verses like this. The point of this study is not to convince someone who believes otherwise. Most Christians I have met will never say Yeshua and Yehovah are One. Yet, I BELIEVE THIS WITH MY WHOLE HEART AND MIND! Can I explain it logically in my human way? No! I can't! But I base my belief on the Scripture I have given in this study and I don't believe it lies! Rather, I believe we humans have much to learn! You see, we humans have this arrogance which assumes that we are able to look at something or someone truly HOLY and REVERANT and decipher and explain it in our minds. We DO NOT HAVE THAT ABILITY! We are ignorant and arrogant to think we do!]
Act 2:36 "Therefore let all the house of Israel know for certain that God has made Him both Lord and Christ--this Jesus whom you crucified."
Act 4:12 "And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved."
Act 10:36 "The word which He sent to the sons of Israel, preaching peace through Jesus Christ (He is Lord of all)--
1Co 12:3 Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God says, "Jesus is accursed"; and no one can say, "Jesus is Lord," except by the Holy Spirit.
[Note: It's important to notice here, the house of Israel, the Northern Kingdom and Judea, are the objects of this revelation. We Gentiles are lucky to even be allowed to come near the Olive Tree! Please notice also, the Ruach Kodesh, the Holy Spirit is required to know and declare that "Jesus is Lord"!]
Php 2:11 and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Col 2:8 See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ. Col 2:9 For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, Col 2:10 and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority;
[Note: Yikes! Look, you may not accept my argument, but make sure no one convinces you through empty deception, tradition, and elementary principles of the world, that the fullness of Deity does not dwell in Yeshua's bodily form! Because it does!]
Zec 14:8 And in that day living waters will flow out of Jerusalem, half of them toward the eastern sea and the other half toward the western sea; it will be in summer as well as in winter. Zec 14:9 And the LORD will be king over all the earth; in that day the LORD will be [the only]one, and His name [the only]one.
[Note: "In that day", the 1,000 year reign! Two phrases are used here that don't appear in the manuscripts. In the last verse "the only" has been added twice by the translators. We cannot continue to refuse the Oneness of Yeshua and Yehovah!]
Is Jesus Elohim? Yeshua and the Father as One, continued: Psa 110:5 The Lord is at Your right hand; He will shatter kings in the day of His wrath. Psa 110:6He will judge among the nations, He will fillthem with corpses, He will shatter the chief men over a broad country. Psa 110:7 He will drink from the brook by the wayside; Therefore He will lift up His head.
[Note: The "Lord" (Yeshua) is at Yehovah's right hand. The "day of His wrath". Who's wrath? Yeshua's! This is "The Lord's Day"! No, the "Lord's Day" is not Sunday, and never has been. It is the last great day. Jesus is The Judge. Everyone must go through Him (regardless of "your" religion) to be with the Father. I have to admit - I once had itching ears and listened to SDA'ers expound about the earth lying dormant for 1,000 years during the millennium. You have to ignore vast amounts of scripture to believe this. Instead, Yeshua (Jesus) WILL reign with a rod of iron and enforce Torah and His Feasts during the millennium. Where does this put Church doctrine? In the dust bin, where it belongs! "Shatter the chief men" Our leaders (so-called), think they are in control. They will do much evil, but will eventually be smashed to bits! And no, not by crazed religious fanatics with an AK in one hand and a bible in the other - but by GOD Himself!] Zec 13:7 "Awake, O sword, against My Shepherd, And against the man, My Associate[the man who is close to me]," Declares the LORD of hosts. "Strike the Shepherd that the sheep may be scattered; And I will turn My hand against the little ones.
[Note: Mark 14:27 also references Zechariah 13. The Shepherd is Yeshua, who is also called My Associate (a kindred man, one like Me!)]
Psa 2:1 Why are the nations in an uproar And the peoples devising a vain thing? Psa 2:2 The kings of the earth take their stand And the rulers take counsel together Against the LORDand against His Anointed, saying, Psa 2:3 "Let us tear their fetters apart And cast away their cords from us!" Psa 2:4 He who sits in the heavens laughs, The Lord scoffs at them. Psa 2:5 Then He will speak to them in His anger And terrify them in His fury, saying, Psa 2:6 "But as for Me, I have installed My King Upon Zion, My holy mountain." Psa 2:7 "I will surely tell of the decree of the LORD: He said to Me, 'You are My Son, Today I have begotten You. Psa 2:8 'Ask of Me, and I will surely give the nations as Your inheritance, And the very ends of the earth as Your possession. Psa 2:9 'You shall break them with a rod of iron, You shall shatter them like earthenware.'" Psa 2:10 Now therefore, O kings, show discernment; Take warning, O judges of the earth. Psa 2:11 Worship the LORD with reverence And rejoice with trembling. Psa 2:12 Do homage to the Son, that He not become angry, and you perishin the way, For His wrath may soon be kindled. How blessed are all who take refuge in Him!
[Note: This was just mentioned in Psalms 110. Some will say King David is referring to himself here, but obviously, he is writing of the future - a future in which the Messiah will ultimately reign on Mt. Zion. Notice please, "against [Yehovah] and His Anointed [Yeshua]". What is the world, in general, and especially America, in particular, doing right now? They are aggressively "coming out of the closet" and publically denying Yehovah the Father and His Annointed, Yeshua! America's greatness and uniqueness will disappear. It will be lost forever because "we" gave up on the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY! The Church is the primary culprit for not saying no to secularism and for it's acceptance of evil. IF YOU ARE A PREACHER, PRIEST, PASTOR, OR RABBI, YOU HAD BETTER GET ON YOUR KNEES NOW - BECAUSE YOU ARE IN HUGE TROUBLE!AND IF YOU ARE A PEW SITTING DELUDED SOUL STILL LISTENING TO THIS NICOLAITAN RABBLE YOU WILL GO DOWN WITH THEM! COME OUT OF HER! I'M SPEAKING OF SPIRITUAL THINGS HERE!Too bad you are not aware!
After the one world government, after The Antichrist, after the persecution of the Saints, and after the destruction of earthly powers, The Anointed will be installed as King of Kings, Lord of Lords. Notice the obvious duality, concerning Yehovah and Yeshua, within Psalms 2.] [Note: The book of John has been referred to by some as the greatest spiritual book of the New Testament! Many people read through it without absorbing and appreciating it's meaning. It is a wonderful book with many treasures!] John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:2 He was in the beginning with God. John 1:3 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being.
[Note: It's another long study to prove this to you, but the "Word" is both Yeshua and Torah! Jesus and the TRUTH which is TORAH was present from the beginning of ALL things. Torah (Truth) was not just something given to the Israelites. It was a gift to the World. Please notice, "the Word was God". Yeshua was God from the beginning!] John 1:14 And the Word [Yeshua] became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
John 1:18No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him. [Note: This verse is ripe with amazing information! Most people ignore it. "No one has seen God at any time"! Did you know it cannot be shown, biblically, that Enoch ascended into "heaven"? I mean the "heaven" where the Great Throne of Yehovah is, and where He lives. Did you know that it cannot be shown, biblically, that Elijah ascended to the Throne room? The good book has 3 versions of heaven; the sky where the birds fly, the heavens where the stars are, and the "Heaven" where the Great God lives.
Did you know that "he left to be with his fathers" is a euphemism for death? Sure, the "in the bosom of the Father" does mean you are intimately located where the subject is - in this case, the Father. Was Lazarus in the "bosom of Abraham"? Yes! And where was Abraham? Dead! And not in Heaven with God, as John 1:18 just said. (See also, John 3:13) The parable of "Lazarus and the Rich Man" is just that, a story. What is the intent of the story? It tells us in scripture, right after the story! You can't take your wealth with you when you die! Give to the poor and needy! Not the lazy poor, mind you, but the genuinely poor and needy!
John 5:16 For this reason the Jews were persecuting Jesus, because He was doing these things on the Sabbath. John 5:17 But He answered them, "My Father is working until now, and I Myself am working." John 5:18 For this reason therefore the Jews were seeking all the more to kill Him, because He not only was breaking the Sabbath, but also was calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God. John 5:19 Therefore Jesus answered and was saying to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner.
[Note:The "Jews". Our beloved translators (did you note the sarcasm) always refer to the "Jews" in a derogatory manner. These are not the "Jews". These are the religious leaders who taught and lived by man-made tradition, the "takanot" and "ma'asim" of the Pharisees. They mistakenly thought Yeshua was breaking Sabbath rules by doing good deeds on Shabbat. No, Jesus was breaking man-made rules. Jesus NEVER taught against the Sabbath or Torah! They also understood Jesus to be equating Himself with God, because He was!]
John 5:30"I can do nothing on My own initiative. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is just, because I do not seek My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. John 5:31"If I alone testify about Myself, My testimony is not true.
[Note: More of that, "equating Himself with God.]
John 6:69 "We have believed and have come to know that You are the Holy Oneof God."
[Note: Another "loaded" verse! Who is "the Holy One of God"? "Jews" of Yeshua's time knew exactly who the Holy One of God is. He is; the Prophet spoken of by Moshe who we must Sh'ma, listen to and obey, He is the Priest forever in the order of Melchizedek, the One who would be installed as King on Mt. Zion! This verse is HUGE folks!] John 8:17"Even in your law it has been written that the testimony of two men is true. John 8:18"I am He who testifies about Myself, and the Father who sent Me testifies about Me."
[Note: Hold on, Tiger! You lost me! Here is Jesus referring to two witnesses! How can they be One? Almost this entire blog entry I've been speaking of the dual nature of God. Yeshua is simply verifying this when speaking of two witnesses. How can two be One? No human knows. But, the testimony of many verses I've quoted say this, that the two are the same - One!]
John 8:23 And He was saying to them, "You are from below, I am from above; you are of this world, I am not of this world. John 8:24"Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am He, you will die in your sins." John 8:25 So they were saying to Him, "Who are You?" Jesus said to them, "What have I been saying to you from the beginning? John 8:26"I have many things to speak and to judge concerning you, but He who sent Me is true; and the things which I heard from Him, these I speak to the world." John 8:27 They did not realize that He had been speaking to them about the Father. [Note: He, Yeshua is from above, from Heaven where God resides. Verse 24 does not actually have "He". It was added by our wonderful translators. It really says; "unless you believe that I am". Yeshua is from the Father.]
John 8:58 Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am."
Exo 3:14 God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM"; and He said, "Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel,'I AM has sent me to you.'"
[Note: Can He give a stronger hint? Yes, and He does! Next, He tells them DIRECTLY Who He is!] John 10:17"For this reason the Father loves Me, because I lay down My life so that I may take it again. John 10:18"No one has taken it away from Me, but I lay it down on My own initiative. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This commandment I received from My Father." John 10:19 A division occurred again among the Jews because of these words. John 10:20 Many of them were saying, "He has a demon and is insane. Why do you listen to Him?" John 10:21 Others were saying, "These are not the sayings of one demon-possessed. A demon cannot open the eyes of the blind, can he?" John 10:22 At that time the Feast of the Dedication took place at Jerusalem; [Hanukkah] John 10:23 it was winter, and Jesus was walking in the temple in the portico of Solomon. John 10:24 The Jews then gathered around Him, and were saying to Him, "How long will You keep us in suspense? If You are the Christ, tell us plainly." John 10:25 Jesus answered them, "I told you, and you do not believe; the works that I do in My Father's name, these testify of Me. John 10:26"But you do not believe because you are not of My sheep. John 10:27"My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; John 10:28and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. John 10:29"My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. John 10:30"I and the Father are one." John 10:31 The Jews picked up stones again to stone Him. John 10:32 Jesus answered them, "I showed you many good works from the Father; for which of them are you stoning Me?" John 10:33 The Jews answered Him, "For a good work we do not stone You, but for blasphemy; and because You, being a man, make Yourself out to be God." John 10:34 Jesus answered them, "Has it not been written in your Law, 'I SAID, YOU ARE GODS'?John 10:35"If he called them gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken), John 10:36do you say of Him, whom the Father sanctified and sent into the world, 'You are blaspheming,' because I said, 'I am the Son of God'? John 10:37"If I do not do the works of My Father, do not believe Me; John 10:38but if I do them, though you do not believe Me, believe the works, so that you may know and understand that the Father is in Me, and I in the Father." John 10:39 Therefore they were seeking again to seize Him, and He eluded their grasp. John 10:40 And He went away again beyond the Jordan to the place where John was first baptizing, and He was staying there. John 10:41 Many came to Him and were saying, "While John performed no sign, yet everything John said about this man was true." John 10:42 Many believed in Him there.
[Note: "I and the Father are one." This is from Yeshua folks! Not Tiger! This statement by Yeshua and all the other verses clinch it for me. But, there's actually more!]
John 14:6-10 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (7) "If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and have seen Him." (8) Philip said to Him, "Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us." (9) Jesus said to him, "Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, 'Show us the Father'? (10) Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works. [Note: The next one may bring tears to your eyes. It has for me.] John 20:27 Then He said to Thomas, "Reach here with your finger, and see My hands; and reach here your hand and put it into My side; and do not be unbelieving, but believing." John 20:28 Thomas answered and said to Him, "My Lord and my God!" John 20:29 Jesus said to him, "Because you have seen Me, have you believed? Blessed are they who did not see, and yetbelieved." ... End, Part 2 - Yes, there's more ... in Part 3 - : )
