Repeating History, Repeating Death

... Insanity is sometimes described as repeating the same mistake, over and over again. The U.S., the U.N., the Diplomats and the Politicians who believe them; are ALL INSANE!

"The appeasers of Islamofascism, who have been calling for a ceasefire and bewailing “civilian casualties” in Lebanon and Gaza, will succeed. Hezbollah will agree to turn over its arms to the pro-Hezbollah Lebanese army. The pro-Hezbollah UN will establish a security zone on Lebanon’s southern border to keep the area clear of non-government militias, of which the Hezbollah “militia” is the only one. The credulous in the Western camp will greet this as a victory for the peacemakers. But exactly the opposite will be the case."

" ... The military solution is costly, but it may create the foundation for an eventual political solution. Massive military defeats for militant organizations like Hezbollah would remove significant tools from the hands of Arab rulers. Combine the military solution with genuine pressure on Arab governments to reform, and we can begin to build the basis for peaceful societies ..."

House Blocks Seizure of Legal Guns

"The House voted Tuesday to prevent law enforcement officers from confiscating legally owned guns during a national disaster or emergency. Republican Rep. Bobby Jindal, the Louisiana lawmaker who sponsored the bill, said firearms seizures after Hurricane Katrina left residents unable to defend themselves. "

"Many of them were sitting in their homes without power, without water, without communication," he said. "It was literally impossible to pick up a phone and call 911."

Pinko DemonRats Rave: "Rep. Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y., repeatedly called the bill "insane."
He and some Democrats said the bill might satisfy the gun lobby, but it would put people into more danger during already perilous disasters."

"The House voted 322-99 in support of the bill. Senators voted 84-16 earlier this month to include a similar prohibition in a homeland security funding bill."

Abdullah And Nutball Say The Same!

King Bush is being played like a violin!

Saudi Arabia Admits To Supporting Terrorism!

... King George has given Israel 10 days to finish Hezbollah, then get out! This came right after his "main barbecue squeeze", Saudi Arabian King Abdullah, warned of a wider Mid-East War.

"In a statement read on state television, the king said he was warning the world, particularly the United States, that "if the option of peace fails as a result of Israeli arrogance, then the only option remaining will be war, and God alone knows what the region would witness in a conflict that would spare no one."

"The king (Abdullah, not George) has decreed donations totalling 1.5 billion to Lebanon, said the royal court statement. The king has assigned $500 million for the reconstruction of Lebanon, and $1 billion to be deposited in Lebanon's central bank to support the economy.
Abdullah also ordered a grant of $250,000 to the Palestinians, the statement said ..."

... do ya really think the money will be used for peaceful purposes?

The N.A.U. Is No "Conspiracy" - Senator Stops N.A.U. Legislation

"Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, Responding to information from WorldNetDaily, Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, has taken steps to ensure the Senate will not act on a bill that would further a plan to create a European Union-style alliance in North America.

Cornyn made the decision after WND pointed out Friday the legislation – the North American Investment Fund Act – would constitute an attempt to pass a key piece of American University Professor Robert Pastor's plan to create a "North American Union."

"Senator Cornyn has no intention of filing the bill again until after we have conducted an internal review and inquiry," a spokesman for Cornyn told WND. "

... the American People have no problem with a strong, executive President, especially during wartime. However, when questions are asked by the free press about "executive" activities that directly affect our Freedoms, the executive BETTER ANSWER! And ANSWER QUICKLY!

... on a different note, Sen. Cornyn supports the President's "signing statements" (executive instructions to executive departments on how to interpret certain laws). Sen. Specter, the ultimate, supreme, pseudo-republican, is suing the President!

Who is innocent? Where is Allah?

As the media delights in reporting, the death toll in Lebanon is over 300 people. I have wondered how many of these are actually innocent? Of course, they are not all victims...but let's not put all the blame on Israel. There's plenty of blame to go around:

Maybe, as this terrible business in Lebanon unfolds, we'll finally get it:

Guerrillas like to hide behind civilians.

Muslim guerrillas take it a step further: "Civilians" are a weapon to them -- as much a part of the fight as the AK-47 or RPG they carry.

Those who have visited any Hezbollah installation in Lebanon over the years always remark on the fact that there are families, women and children, in and around the place. "Secret" bases are usually hidden in plain site. Houses or apartment buildings become weapons storage or even operations centers. An innocent shed or garage may contain a Toyota or a missile launcher.

Do innocent civilians keep missle launchers in their garages? Would you continue to live next door to someone who did? Perhaps if you also had one parked in yours.

Lebanon - When Democratization Becomes Legitimizing A Terrorist State

... "the very idea that Lebanon is an innocent bystander in the war against Israel won't wash. Lebanon is host to the terrorist aggressor which has sworn to eliminate Israel and its Jews from the face of the earth ..."

... the use of the word "Democracy" to describe a TERRORIST State goes beyond the pale ... my definition of the word is very different than the Bush administration's ... the concept of spreading "Democracy" throughout the world is a good one, however, its been horribly implemented in Lebanon ... the "word", as used by the Bush administration, is the epitome of FASCIST Political Correctness! it does nothing but harm ...

Hezbollah and the Nazis

Some very interesting pictures and a little history lesson on the Muslim relationship with Adolph Hitler and Nazi Germany.

Look at the person sitting on the front row, second from the left.

Who do you think that is?

Hey! Slick Willie! ... Here's Your Legacy!

August's cover story in America's 1st Freedom, an NRA publication, deals with the GENOCIDE in Sudan. If you can get your hands on a copy - do it! It's a subscription mag, otherwise I'd point you directly to the article.

Clinton can't be blamed for all the "Murder by Muslim" over the years, but it's certainly part of his legacy. Clinton's abandonment of my brothers and subsequent abandonment of the Sudanese people make Bush's job even harder to do! HOLD ON TO YOUR BUTTS, PEOPLE! WHEN THE MIDEAST IS BETTER, WE'LL BE IN AFRICA! Here are some quotes from the article which will stick in your gut.

"The international gun prohibition lobbies and their United Nations allies insist that there is no personal right of self-defense - that people should be forced to rely on the government for protection. The prohibitionists also insist that there is no human right for people to possess the means of self-defense, such as firearms. But what are people supposed to do when the government itself starts killing civilians?"

"Blacks are forbidden to possess arms, but the Arabs are given arms by the government - five or six guns per person, according to Amnesty International."

... for protecting herself from RAPE by knifing her attacker, a girl and a few of her friends face execution ...

"Genocide Begins With Gun Bans"

... I'll keep on asking the question ... WHY ARE WE STILL IN THE UNITED NATIONS? Please answer the question; President Bush, John Bolton, anybody? ...

The Debate Continues - The N.A.U.

"To set the record straight, I believe there is no convincing evidence that a second assassin positioned behind the grassy knoll killed JFK, nor do I see definitive scientific evidence that the Loch Ness monster exists. I do find credible evidence, however, to advance the argument that the Bush administration is quietly creating the trilateral structure in administrative law of the NAU. The key action is going on within the executive branch in SPP.gov working groups. The goal seems to be to make the NAU a fait accompli without having to present the proposition first to the American public or the U.S. Congress for debate and approval. Far from being a conspiracy, the evidence for these contentions is “hidden” in the open, much of it published on government websites."

This "Right-Winger" Deserves Respect!

"Written off as a reactionary right-winger by those who think that militant Palestinian minds can be swayed from the goal of the destruction of Israel, one can take note today of why Netanyahu so fervently opposed Israel's Gaza pullout and why he was right to do so."

... a human hasn't been born yet who's always correct, except the "One". But it truly frightens LIBERALS when those on the "right" nail it! ... which is more often than most people admit!

More on Buchanan and the "Realists"

It seems that the "realists" have gone over the top with Buchanan leading the charge. It's irritating that in addition to suffering shots from the left for a long time, we are now being targeted by snipers firing from the right.
Now Israel's rampage against a defenseless Lebanon -- smashing airport runways, fuel tanks, power plants, gas stations, lighthouses, bridges, roads and the occasional refugee convoy -- has exposed Bush's folly in subcontracting U.S. policy out to Tel Aviv, thus making Israel the custodian of our reputation and interests in the Middle East.

The Lebanon that Israel, with Bush's blessing, is smashing up has a pro-American government, heretofore considered a shining example of his democracy crusade. Yet, asked in St. Petersburg if he would urge Israel to use restraint in its air strikes, Bush sounded less like the leader of the Free World than some bellicose city councilman from Brooklyn Heights.

As to Lebanon being destroyed, I don't think so. Certain blocks in the southern burbs of Beirut; yes. The infrastructure of the whole country; hardly. Take the bridges for example; the expensive bridges so far have been left pretty much intact with maybe a hole through the deck in a strategic location. This indicates to me that the Israelis hit it with a concrete bomb which has no explosives but a hell of a punch. Can be repaired fairly easily.

Some of the short bridges such as cross dry creeks have been knocked down entirely but these are relatively inexpensive and easy to replace.

Anderson Cooper was in Beirut escorted by Hezbollah to record the devastation. When asked by someone in the studio whether this was typical of a broad area, he replied that no, it was confined to a few blocks.

The attacks on the airport have (to my knowledge and I could be mistaken) been confined to cratering the runways.

Strategic hits on electrical substations can knock power without destroying the grid.

We're seeing a lot of propaganda designed to gin up international condemnation of the Israelis and we don't need our people throwing gas on that fire (if you know who I mean.)

Tunnels on The Lebanese Border

The Belmont Club: The Lebanese BorderAre these Hezbolla tunnels or Lebanese tunnels? Is there a difference? Certainly the Lebanese government claims (ala Arafat and now Abbas) that they have no control over Hezbollah. Syria claims it has no control over Hezbollah, Iran claims it has no control over Syria, Hezbollah or Hamas. I think they heard about the term "plausible deniability."

"No control, no responsibility, no accountibility."

Well, that con game has been exposed and so far, I haven't seen legionos of International Lawyers and Law Enforcement Officials prosecuting the con-artists in Gaza and Lebanon. International law? Who's going to enforce it? Who will prosecute? Can we bring a case against the UN? I would like to see them prosecuted for criminal negligence for their part in failing to enforce UN Resolution 1559. Let's haul the UN before the ICC.

In fact, I would be very interested in knowing what the UN knows about these tunnels. Like who built them and what may be inside them. After all, the UN and Lebanon were charged with disarming Hezbollah but having failed to do so, must surely have had plenty of time to observe the construction and provisioning of these "defensive" fortifications.

I wonder if Pat Buchanan would say "That's none of our business." or would he join the maniacal, Muslim and old Nazis in a rousing chorus of the old beer hall favorite, "The Jews Did it."

Duh, I should have known, the frickin Jews built the tunnels. We must prosecute!

Mockers and Scorners

Newt Gingrich's message about Iran being at the epicenter of WWIII:

The nature of the threat - with Iran at the epicenter - is at its core ideological. The ideological wing of Islam that is irreconcilable to modern civilization. And while not operationally connected, the events of just the last seven weeks throughout the world share the common strategic goal of defeating the West and its values. It could be accurately described as a third world war.

Just place these events on a map and a clear picture emerges.

was carried on the Guardian UK which is said to be the left's flagship on the British Isles.

The commenters mocked and scorned him as an insane lunatic. Read them for yourself.

The Creation Of A Police State

... We don't need the Lunatic Left to make a fuss about George Bush. Heaven knows there's many legitimate concerns about our government. Beside, I do my part to kick G.W. Bush to the right as often as I can.

... I have always thought the Military Raids on Elian Gonzales, the wanton killing of women and children at Waco, the murder of family members at Ruby Ridge were nightmares straight from the old Soviet Union. They are all too quickly becoming the status quo in America!

... Para-Military Police weapons and tactics are needed sometimes, usually in drug raids. I have no problem with the DEA having such units, to be used on criminals. We also need such units to handle homeland security in this age of terrorism. I have never wanted SWAT Teams in our local police force, however. When police become soldiers and soldiers become construction and social workers, sometimes called "nation building", we become LESS FREE!

Bush Being Forced To Disclose Activities On N.A.U.

... finally, awareness is slowly starting!

"A congressman is pressing the Department of Commerce to fully disclose a congressionally unauthorized plan to implement a trilateral agreement with Mexico and Canada that critics say could lead to a North American union. "

- What is the membership of the 30 SPP working groups?

- What is the charge/working agenda of each of the 30 SPP working groups?

- Please provide to me any trilateral memoranda of understanding and other trilateral agreements with Mexico and Canada.

- Please provide findings, reports and presentations of the working groups.

- Under what congressional action are these working groups constituted?

- What congressional oversight is there of this process?

- Are the working groups redefining American laws to make them tri-lateral?

- What specific plans are there for reporting to Congress?

"The constituents' letter also suggested four lines of inquiry should congressional hearings be convened to examine SPP working group activities: "

- Is the sovereignty of the United States threatened since it has been reported that a North American court and a parliamentary body are being proposed, complete with the "Amero" to replace the U.S. dollar?

- Wouldn't an "outer security perimeter" remove the capacity of policing our borders from the hands of United States citizens?

- Isn't "harmonizing entry screening and visa and asylum regulations" code for a quantum leap in liberalizing our country's immigration laws?

- What about the May 2005 CFR Task Force documents calling for a "seamless North American market" and for "the extension of full labor mobility to Mexico" and for a "permanent tribunal for North American dispute regulation," as well as calling for allowing Mexican trucks "unlimited access" to the U.S.

Picture, Quote Of The Day

Pipes Lays Out The History ... And Other Sundries ...

Failing Foreign Policy ... More Evidence

... geez, this guy must have been listening to me! : ) ...

"On May 31, 2006, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice made the startling announcement that the United States would end a decades-old policy of refusing to engage in direct negotiations with the Islamic Republic of Iran. The shift appeared to run directly counter to the “Bush Doctrine” first articulated by the president in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks.

"That doctrine, highlighted with great moral clarity a year later in “The National Security Strategy of the United States,” asserts that: “The United States will make no concessions to terrorist demands and strike no deals with them. We make no distinction between terrorists and those who knowingly harbor or provide aid to them.”

"The only thing not on the table here is terrorism. That, after all, might upset the Iranians. Mustn’t do that. So basically, it’s: Here are valuable concessions we’ll give you if you’ll just tell us you’re going to stop trying to build nukes and let the ever-dependable IAEA police the arrangement. On Hezbollah, al Qaeda, Hamas, and the Iraqi insurgency: No action required."

Iran - Enemy No. 1

"This is a message President Bush must hear. The true enemy of Israel and the U.S. today is not Hezbollah, Hamas, or Syria – the true enemy has been and will continue to be Iran, as long as the Islamic Republic of Iran remains the regime in Tehran."

Want To Buy, Sell, Or Trade? Better Have Your NAU Card!

"Human Events Online has been leading the coverage of the so-called “Security and Prosperity Partnership,” a unilateral program implemented by the Bush Administration designed to set the course for a North American Union that would subsume our national sovereignty. A de facto treaty signed by the leaders of Canada, Mexico, and the U.S., the agreement was never submitted to the Senate for ratification. Now it can be revealed that plans for the North American Union include a tri-national “North American Union” ID card."

Americans Abroad Love to Berate their Country

Martina Navratilova was interviewed on BBC Worldservice and couldn't resist some anti-Bush digs.

She said that she left Czechoslovakia because the government there was telling her what she could read, say and think. She said the US was moving toward totalitarianism and that criticism of leaders is not allowed.

What an idiot! She actually lived under a communist regime and has the nerve to compare the US to a totalitarian society.

I wonder if her sexual orientation has something to do with her paranoia.

Damaged goods.

Under the Mask

Under the mask of liberalism, political correctness and multi-cultural diversity lurks something more sinister.

This is a peek.

... More Argument For Doing Something Now!

"The goal of the United States and Israel and all freedom-loving and civilized people in this war must be the destruction of the Hamas and Hizbollah leadership, their military infrastructure and capabilities. If there was a UN worthy of the name, it would expel Syria and Iran from its body, and send a Security Council armed force to the West Bank and Gaza to institute an occupation whose duration should not be less than a generation."

"The world will not be a safe place or a decent one until the present regimes in Gaza, the West Bank, Syria and Iran are gone. This is a war all Americans must support."

Katherine Harris for Senate Campaign Implosion

Rarely does a campaign for the US Senate go down in flames as Katherine Harris's has done this week. As the second round of wholesale staff resignations took effect, former staffers showed no reticience in saying she was a micromanager, threw temper tantrums, blamed everyone else and accepted no responsibility for errors, missteps, etc. They intimate that she is "snapping" under pressure and her behaviour is erratic.

Staffers who quit this week evidently felt so mistreated by her that the picture being drawn by the press is a Cruella Deville type character.

Ed Rollins, quit in April and said that these latest complaints sounded familiar.

This was the story in April when Ed Rollins quit.

Oh well.

The Belmont Club: Khalilzad on Iraq

A speech entitled:

"IRAQ: A STATUS REPORT" AMBASSADOR ZALMAY KHALILZAD at
CSIS THE CENTER FOR STRATEGIC & INTERNATIONAL STUDIES in Washington, D. C. JULY 11, 2006

This is a must read. Very informative.

My impressions:
1. Be optimistic. Things are progressing.

2. The Sunnis are beginning to see the light but until they feel secure in the New Iraq, they continue to use terror as a bargaining chip.

3. al-Qaeda is kaput but the "terrorists" which I assume to mean the sunni or shia militas are still at it. I'm beginning to think that maybe all this tit-for-tat bloodletting was necessary to move the process forward. Now the Iraqi people demand the Government do something about it. The policy is to "contain sectarian violence" until the Government and military are strong enough to monopolise the violence. The Ambassador says the government must produce within 6 months.

4. Get the International community involved. Show 'em the money! Some of them, imagining the possibilities, are beginning to rub their hands.

5. Deal with Iran and Syria.

6. Realise the economic potential.

One of the great political ironies of our time is that circumstances forced George W. Bush to do what he did not wish to do; nation building and by gosh, I think he's going to do it. With any luck, in time, the new Iraq and its oil may provide an alternative to Saudi oil allowing the US to deal with the roots of Islamic terror.

God willing, it will work and history will vindicate the maligned "neocons."

Regardless of the success or failure in Iraq, I do not think I can ever forgive the MSM, the Democratic Party, or other world leftists. I feel contempt for them as I feel contempt for the Palestinians.

I've Been Saying This For Years - You DUMBASSES!

"We believe assimilation will proceed faster and better, and both established residents and newcomers will be happier, if the current level of immigration, legal and illegal combined, is reduced."

... indeed, most reasonable people have long ago come to this common sense decision. Saying so now, by the NRO Editors, may publicly establish their position but also demonstrates their lack of influence on government policy.

Opposition To The "North American Union" Growing

"You know, I was asked the other day about whether or not I really thought the American people had the stomach to stand up and stop this nonsense, this direction from a group of elites, an absolute contravention of our law, of our Constitution, every national value. And I hope, I pray that I'm right when I said yes. But this is -- I mean, this is beyond belief."

The Arab Dichotomy

The Guggenheim Foundation announced that it will build in Abu Dhabi, its largest museum to date. The museum will cost $200 million dollars.

A google of the United Arab Emirates, Dubai, Bahrain, Qatar, and Kuwait will reveal Persian Gulf countries awash in petro-dollars which are "burning holes in their pockets." The dichotomy of the Arab world and Islam is an enigma.

One brother is advancing a backward fundamentalism funded by the other whose oil dollars are also buying western amenities and materialism. Undoubtedly some in these oil sheikdoms are financing jihad with the tacit understanding that it will be conducted elsewhere. This is a myopic policy that could lead to great ruin if the Islamists prevail. How long can Islamists tolerate decadence, hedonism and harems even if they are kept behind closed doors and silken curtains?

How long will this symbiotic relationship continue and how much misery and devastation will it inflict on the greater Islamic world before that world realizes the madness of the hypocrisy?

Vindication of Supply Side Economics

Even the New York times is forced to print some good economic news. Budget deficits are declining much faster than predicted due to "unexpectedly steep rise in tax revenues from corporations and the wealthy." Why this is "unexpected" is a mystery, considering that the Treasury has been reporting some record daily receipts throughout this year.

Of course the Dems will try to put a negative spin on this news that would not be suppressed but next time you hear someone spouting doom and gloom about the economy or raising taxes remind them of this.

How many times must supply side economics and lower taxes be vindicated before the stubborn Donkey party give up on its "soak the rich" philosophy?

Somalia under Sharia

The Somalis seeking peace and security may have gotten more than bargained for as Somali Islamists are beginning to look more like the Taleban or the Sauds.

Earlier in the week, two men were killed for watching a World Cup Finals Football game. The Associated Press has reported that two men have been arrested for the killings.

Is The U.S. State Dept. Assisting Terrorists?

I emailed Karen Hughes, Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs and asked a few questions about her "outreach" program, The Citizen Dialogue Initiative.

This program "allows Muslim Americans to share the diversity and reality of their American experience with Muslims communities around the world". The program includes travel to and from other countries, primarily Europe, but, "delegations are scheduled to depart later this year to different regions of the world". The program's purpose is to, "increase cross cultural dialogue between Muslim Americans and Muslim citizens overseas". The delegates meet with local Muslims in other countries.

Questions:

... uh, Karen Hughes:

1. Have these American Muslim citizens been vetted for terrorist activities?

2. Are their travel destinations and departures being watched closely by intelligence personnel?

3. Are their activities at home and abroad being closely watched and evaluated?

4. Are all of their used means of electronic communications, banking, and human contact being monitored and scutinized?

5. Is all of the above being done with the people they contact overseas?

6. Are foreign Intelligence Services being informed of these globetrotters?

7. This program is strictly for Muslims. Why is there not a comparable Christian or Jewish program? (This is where a LIBERAL would make some remark about Church and State, not about the Muslim program, but about my question).

8. This program assumes that American Muslims are not communicating American culture back home to their friends and relations, making them unique among American immigrants. Do you agree with this statement?

... more questions can be raised, Karen Hughes ... Condi Rice, would you like to answer these questions?

The U.N. Fails To Agree On "Small Arms" Agreement

"After days of negotiations, delegates gave up their bid to agree on an "outcome document" meant to reflect their consensus on the most serious threats and the best way to fight the illegal trade in small arms, worth about $1 billion a year."

... YEEHAH! LET FREEDOM RING - MAKES ME WANNA SHOOT SOMETHIN'!

... Generally, the U.N. believes the world's small arms trade causes all armed conflict. It's the old, sadly mistaken LIBERAL belief that if all weapons are gone, the conflicts will stop. This ignores the fact that criminals, insurgents, terrorists and rebels don't follow laws that pertain to gun ownership. Therefore, as has been stated many, many times; law-abiding people will be disarmed and the bad guys will stay armed.

Also, countries have different points of view and definitions of "law-abiding, legal gun ownership". For most countries in the U.N. guns can only be owned by government officials, police officers, and government soldiers. This is what they mean we they speak of "legal gun ownership". Kofi Annan's and Prasad Kariyawasam's (Sri Lanka's U.N. ambassador and president of the conference) definition of gun ownership means all Americans must be disarmed.

... to remain in the U.N. is to accept slavery, any sane man can see that. Why do we stay there? I can only come to the conclusion that, in the end, our government is trying to slowly enslave us.

Remove Bad Senators, Regardless Of Party

"A group of 43 influential opinion leaders – including Alan Keyes, Phyllis Schlafly, David Horowitz and Swiftboat activist John O'Neill – have signed a declaration pledging to withhold support for any candidate, Democrat or Republican, who votes for legislation providing "amnesty" or a guest-worker program for illegal aliens."

"Any amnesty would move America toward a future like France, which is staggering under the burden of 'guest' workers who never went home," states the declaration. "

A Tme To Kill ...

The Vatican Confronts Islam

I can hear CAIR now

I found out about this through an ad on Drudge Report. A documentary will be playing in Atlanta, Chicago and Washington D.C. The producers pull no punches and explain that Islam is not the Religion of Peace. The documentary covers:

What the West Needs to Know
An examination of Islam, violence, and the fate of the non-Muslim world.

98 mins
Main Idea
Virtually every major Western leader has over the past several years expressed the view that Islam is a peaceful religion and that those who commit violence in its name are fanatics who misinterpret its tenets. This claim, while widely circulated, rarely attracts serious public examination. Relying primarily on Islam’s own sources, this documentary demonstrates that Islam is a violent, expansionary ideology that seeks the destruction or subjugation of other faiths, cultures, and systems of government.

Content
The documentary consists of original interviews, citations from Islamic texts, Islamic artwork, computer-animated maps, footage of Western leaders, and Islamic television broadcasts. Its tone is sober, methodical, and compelling.

Outline of the Documentary
Introduction
We hear from prominent Western leaders that Islam is peaceful and that those who commit violence in its name are heterodox fanatics.

Part 1: ‘There is no God but Allah and Muhammad is his Prophet’
Our interviewees affirm their belief that Islamic violence is entirely orthodox behavior for Muslims and stems directly from the teachings and example of the Prophet Muhammad and the commands of the Koran. We learn that the example of Muhammad is one of a violent warlord who killed numerous people. The Koran – the verbatim words of Allah – prescribes violence against non-Muslims and Muhammad is the perfect example of the Koran in action.

Part 2: The Struggle
We learn that jihad, while literally meaning 'struggle', in fact denotes war fought against non-Muslims in order to bring the rule of Islamic law to the world. Violent death in jihad is, according to the Koran, the only assurance of salvation. One of our interviewees tells of his personal involvement in terrorism and his leaving Islam.

Part 3: Expansion
Following the death of Muhammad, his 'rightly-guided' successors carried his wars to three continents, fighting, enslaving, and massacring countless Christians, Jews, Zoroastrians, Hindus, and others. Islam did not spread through evangelism or through its natural appeal, but through aggressive wars of conquest. The Crusades were largely a belated response on the part of Christian Europe to rescue Christians in the Holy Land suffering under Muslim oppression. The Muslim world today, while no longer the unified empire of the Caliphs, is exceptional for being responsible for the vast majority of conflicts around the world and for almost all of international terrorism.

Part 4: ‘War is Deceit’
A great problem with Western efforts to understand Islam is due to the Islamic principle of 'religious deception', which enjoins Muslims to deceive non-Muslims in order to advance the cause of Islam. Muslim groups today in the West employ deception and omission to give the impression that 'Islam is a religion of peace', an utter fiction.

Part 5: More than a Religion
The most important characteristic of Islam not understood by the West is that it is more a system of government than a personal religion. Throughout its history, Islam has never recognized a distinction between the religious and the secular/political. Islamic law governs every aspect of religious, political, and personal action, which amounts to a form of totalitarianism that is divinely enjoined to dominate the world, analogous in many ways to Communism.

Part 6: The House of War
Islamic theology divides the world into two spheres locked in perpetual combat, dar al-Islam (House of Islam - where Islamic law predominates), and dar al-harb (House of War - the rest of the world). It is incumbent on dar al-Islam to fight and conquer dar al-harb and permanently assimilate it. Muslims in Western nations are called to subvert the secular regimes in which they now live in accordance with Allah's command. Due to political correctness and general government and media irresponsibility, the danger posed by observant Muslims in the West remains largely unappreciated.

I can hear CAIR now.

Islam: What the West Needs to Know (NR); NY/Wash/ATL

Virtually every major Western leader has over the past several years expressed the view that Islam is a peaceful religion and that those who commit violence in its name are fanatics who misinterpret its tenets. This claim, while widely circulated, rarely attracts serious public examination. Relying primarily on Islam's own sources, this documentary demonstrates that Islam is a violent, expansionary ideology that seeks the destruction or subjugation of other faiths, cultures, and systems of government.

Breaking Up America

... see the red dot near Kansas City? It's a sovereign chunk of Mexico ... yes, you heard right, Mexico

... what does it matter if he gains the whole world?

"The documents make clear that Mexico demanded Kansas City pay all costs. To date, the Kansas City Council has voted a $2.5 million loan to KC SmartPort to build the Mexican customs facility in the West Bottoms near Kemper Arena on city-owned land east of Liberty Street and mostly south of Interstate 670. "

"Kansas City, Mo., is leasing the site to Kansas City SmartPort," Tasha Hammes of the development council wrote to WND last month. "It will NOT be leased to any Mexican government agency or to be sovereign territory of Mexico."

"Yet, an email written June 21, 2004, by Chris Gutierrez, the president of the KC SmartPort, stated that the Mexican customs office space "would need to be designated as Mexican sovereign territory and meet certain requirements."

Public Education - Forcing History Teachers To Tell The Truth In Florida

"Academics are touchy people — especially when mere mortals presume to speak for themselves on matters where the professors claim expertise. So Cornell historian Mary Beth Norton lashed out, in the Sunday New York Times, against the Florida legislature for daring to make law on a subject squarely within its responsibility — educational standards in history — without apparently consulting the most enlightened members of the history professoriate, like, say, Mary Beth Norton. Oh dear, what trouble those poor legislators bought themselves. I’m sure they’re all slapping their foreheads and saying “Dang! Why didn’t we ask this Norton woman for advice!”

A Great Post!

Sparks from the Anvil: What Happened After We Gained Our Independence?
The Wordsmith has outdone himself with an excellent post over at "Sparks from the Anvil". He writes about America's first encounter with Islamists aka the "Barbary Pirates."

A Call For "REVOLUTION"

"There can be no reasoned response when the rights of convicted murderers and terrorists are placed above those of their victims and the innocent. There can be no reasoned response when the rights of baby killers and sodomists are not only given precedence over the rights of parents who would claim their children exempt from the influence of same – the rights of these groups are shaping laws that directly countermand the freedoms of the majority. "

... the idea that REASON cannot be used against our enemies, FOREIGN and DOMESTIC!
... it might be time for "unreasonable" action!

Pedophiles in Belgium

Gates of Vienna: In Belgium, The Frog is Getting Warmer
Read down in the post. It seems the Belgian Government will not crack down on the problem.

This is very interesting

I shouldn't be surprised.

Al-Qaeda sympathisers have been trying to infiltrate the British security service MI5, the BBC has learned.

I wouldn't be surprised if they aren't already compromised.

Hamdan v Rumsfeld

The Supreme Court decided that: 1. Afghanistan is a signatory to the Geneva Convention. 2. The war in Afghanistan was not international in nature. That is; it was contained within the borders of one country therefore Geneva Conventions General Article 3 applied . This was done so that the SC majority could claim that the detainees were entitled under Article 3 paragraph D. to “regularly comprised court.” That means a court which would commonly be used in the detaining country. In this case, either US civilian courts or military courts covered under the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ). It also means that any information gleaned from the defendant by coercion is inadmissible in court. In addition, a defendant has the right to face his accuser in court and may also have access to classified information used in the prosecution.

The Supreme Court also took advantage of an apparently poorly written law, The Detainee Treatment Act, wherein Congress had stated that no US court had jurisdiction over any detainees held in Guantanamo Bay. The SC decided that Hamdan’s case was already in the pipeline when the DTA was passed and therefore did not apply to him.

The Editors at National Review On-Line address the Courts intrusion on DTA.
“To begin with, the Court had no business deciding this case at all. Not only did it target the president’s commander-in-chief authority to determine what is militarily necessary in wartime, it also imperiously slapped down the U.S. Congress. In last December’s Detainee Treatment Act (DTA), Congress — acting on its constitutional prerogative — rescinded the unprecedented jurisdiction that the Supreme Court, in the 2004 Rasul case, had tried claimed over alien enemy combatants captured in wartime and held outside the U.S. (that is, outside the jurisdiction of U.S. courts). This Court, however, acknowledges no limits on its powers — whether imposed by Congress or by the English language, which it had to torture in order to construe the DTA’s unambiguous limitation of its jurisdiction as an invitation to meddle.”

The Court stated that the decision in Hamdan v Rumsfeld did not address constitutional questions but rather was directed at requiring the Bush Administration to comply with US law. It suggested that Congress had the power to change US laws as needed. The Supreme Court also said that this ruling did not impact the Bush Administations authority to continue detaining enemy combatants at Guantanamo. Whether the liberal members of the SC will hold to this opinion is questional. They may be counting on sustained and mounting International pressure to close Guantanamo and treat the war on terror as a police matter.

Republican members of Congress have indicated that they will work with the President to restore the tools he needs to prosecute the GWOT. Essentially, this decision is a skirmish in the on-going battle of left versus right. The left sees George Bush as “King George” constantly aggregating power and authority at the expense of the Legislative and Judiciary Branches. Conservatives see the left as suffering from BDS such that they will say and do anything to thwart King George. This case illustrates the divide in the World Views of liberals and conservatives. The left has largely ignored the questionable interpretations and decisions of the SC majority and are delighting in the "setback" dealt to the Bush administration. The silver lining is that is that Hamdan may be stuck in Guantanamo Bay for quite some time to come. Also, unfortunately for the Democrats, elections are coming and once again, they will be forced to "show their hands." They must decide whether to appease the rabid left or support the on-going fight against terror.

The Supreme Court may have unwittingly sealed Democratic defeat in the 2006 elections.

The United States of Mexico, Jorge W. Bush, El Presidente!

"The Totalization Agreement could allow millions of illegal Mexican workers to draw billions of dollars from the U.S. Social Security Trust Fund. The agreement between the U.S. and Mexico was signed in June 2004, and is awaiting President Bush's signature. "

"President Bush has expressed his support for this Agreement, and we believe that regardless of the current immigration debate, his most likely window for signing it is immediately after the 2006 midterm elections when no one is looking," TREA spokesman Brad Phillips told NewsMax.

A Reminder

Who's At Fault Concerning These "Terrorist Judges"? - For The Most Part, REPUBLICANS!

Hey! You "so-called" conservative Bloggers out there! Do your part to get rid of bad Republicans! Blog for Freedom first!

JOHN PAUL STEVENS – Nominated by President Gerald Ford, in December 1975, President Gerald Ford nominated Stevens to replace the retiring Associate Justice William O. Douglas. He was approved unanimously (99-0) by the Senate.

RUTH BADER GINSBERG - In June 1993, President Bill Clinton nominated Ginsburg to replace retiring Associate Justice Byron White. She was approved by the Senate by a 96-3 margin. The Repubs knew she was essentially a Marxist, but they voted for her anyway!

ANTHONY KENNEDY - When Associate Justice Lewis Powell retired in June 1987, President Ronald Reagan had some difficulty in getting a replacement confirmed by the Senate. First he nominated the conservative Robert Bork, who was rejected (or, as we call it today, "Borked") 42-58 by the newly Democratic Senate. Reagan next nominated Douglas Ginsburg, who was forced to step down after revelations of marijuana use. Reagan's third choice was Kennedy, nominated that November, who was unanimously (97-0) confirmed by the Senate.

DAVID SOUTER - In July 1990, President George Bush nominated Souter to replace the retiring Associate Justice William J. Brennan. Although the press referred to him as a "stealth justice" because of his relative silence on hot-button issues, he breezed through the Senate confirmation process (90-9).

STEPHEN BREYER - In May 1994, President Bill Clinton nominated Breyer to replace the retiring Associate Justice Harry Blackmun. Facing little controversy and broad bipartisan support, he was approved (87-9) by the Senate.

... the historical weakness of Senate Republicans has been a problem for a long time. STOP SUPPORTING LIBERAL REPUBLICANS!

Democrats New Direction for America

Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and the Democratic Party want to take America in a new direction. After all the troops are moved in a new direction (eastward to Okinawa) they will address what's really wrong with America.

They want to:
1. Make healthcare more affordable by cracking down on insurance companies and HMO's.
Wonderful! It was Congress that created HMO's to address the problem of expensive health insurance. Congress will not make the situation better. Eventually the Democrats will say "We've got to have socialized medicine."

2. Lower gas prices by cracking down on price gouging and eliminating billions in subsidies.
More money, more money, more money! They love more money because they're smarter than everyone else and can spend it more wisely.

3. They will "help the American Family" by raising the minimum wage and repealing tax cuts. This will only serve to increase the unemployment rate. Young people will suffer most as employers are forced to cut back on staff. Tax cuts have stimulated the economy since the tech bubble burst and 9/11. Lower, not higher taxes, are the proven way to robust economy. This is the same old cheap pandering by a idea bereft political party. They cling to their lies because they have nothing new to offer.

4 and 5. Cut college costs and offer dignified retirement.
By offering these two "novel ideas" they can appeal to two voters groups. The young and naive and the old and insecure. Who will pay for this largesse. Working people, well those who aren't put out of work by items 1 through 3.

Item 6. Require Fiscal Responsibilty. Translation: Higher Taxes. "After all, sacrifices must be made."

Item 7. Provide for a secure America. Oh wait, my mistake. This item isn't in their list. Sorry, scratch that.

Mark Steyn has a crique of the Democrat Plan.
