Ann Coulter's 2008 not-at-CPAC-CPAC Speech

Ann Coulter wasn't invited to CPAC this year but she came to CPAC anyway and gave a speech just down the hallway from the ballroom where John McCain spoke Thursday. The speech was only open to 1000 attendees but you can watch it here on Townhall.com.

Dear Mr. Tiger:
Oh if only I could think (and look) like Ann Coulter! She, Michelle Malkin, Star Parker, Peggy Noonan are other mentors for me.
What a great and funny speech-and what a quick wit she has to answer questions.

Ann is one of those people we call brilliant. Folks that sharp become impatient with their fellow man.

She directs her frustration (that others don't get it like she does) with wit, humor, and sarcastic rhetoric.

Maybe its time to revive my 80/20 rule. 80% of all people just don't get it; at all! 20%, maybe less, are aware of the threats around them and wish to do something about it. This kind of thinking will be called paranoid and/or elitist by some, but nonetheless the rule seems to apply.

Ann's a reminder to the Repubs, a thorn in their conscience. Personally, I don't think she can affect change herself. She will be ignored - to the Republicans detriment.

Have you noticed? Newt is treated the same way!
