UPDATED: Is "THIS" the Beginning of the End for the Vatican and the Papacy?

FROM THE DailyMailOnline: Gay sex rings, 'The Filth' corrupting the Vatican...and why the Pope REALLY quit

Few in the Judeo-Christian world will disagree with the idea that the Vatican, along with the Papal power in Rome is the historical Whore of Babylon. The prophet Daniel speaks of this, the book of Revelation and other verses clearly define the last beastly empire, Rome, and it's spiritual representative which historically misleads the church, misconstrues the gospel, and presents itself as a replacement for the true worship of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and our Messiah Yeshua.

Oh, other theories abound: New York City or Jerusalem are both offered as the possible "Whore", but the last two thousand years have presented overwhelming evidence (IMO) to the contrary.

This blog entry is not presented to argue over this interpretation of scripture, however, it is instead presented to point out recent events which may have a bearing on the prophecy itself.

The "Observer" has evolved over the years from being a strictly political entity to a discussion concerning spiritual matters. This blog represents my growth in this regard. I presently argue firmly about the need to "come out" of the worldly church, to disregard and reject pagan influences in the church, and to adopt the Torah, the Bible, and the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) as your ultimate source for truth concerning Yehovah and Yeshua.

So, what recent event has triggered these thoughts concerning the "end" of the Vatican?

If you missed reports of this over the last few years, Cardinal Ratzinger was the authority over the Catholic Church's scandals involving the molestation of innocent youth. It has been investigated and reported that an alleged cover-up has occurred within the RCC under the authority of Cardinal Ratizinger, a.k.a. Pope Benedict XVI, who has, of course, recently resigned.

The I.T.C.C.S., btw, is considered to be a noble organization that pursues justice against churches and states. To believe that crime does not happen within church and state is to be explicitly naive and childish. No matter what your opinion may be of such investigative organizations like the ITCCS, a criminal act is a crime - period!

The report alleges that Joseph Ratzinger, once Pope, is trying to arrange, with the help of the Italian government, immunity from criminal prosecution.

Now, why do I believe this may be the beginning of the end for the Vatican?

Rev 17:16  "And the ten horns which you saw, and the beast, these will hate the harlot and will make her desolate and naked, and will eat her flesh and will burn her up with fire.

Rev 17:17  "For God has put it in their hearts to execute His purpose by having a common purpose, and by giving their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God will be fulfilled.

Rev 18:4  I heard another voice from heaven, saying, "Come out of her, my people, so that you will not participate in her sins and receive of her plagues;

Rev 18:5  for her sins have piled up as high as heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.

Rev 18:6  "Pay her back even as she has paid, and give back to her double according to her deeds; in the cup which she has mixed, mix twice as much for her.

None of us, btw, has a crystal ball, none of us know the future except what we may glean from scripture and even then we humans DO NOT have all the answers, but something is going on here with the Vatican, and it doesn't appear to be kosher.

... we don't have much time left, folks! Get out of your pagan church or synagogue and learn about the real God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

P.S. I had an anonymous question asked of me and it needs to be addressed here - in the open. Is this blog entry intended to be a personal attack on Joseph Ratzinger? The answer is NO, definitely not! I have stated over and over that ALL of us are sinners and not one of us is better than the other. This subject is all about what the Vatican and RCC will do with this problem. I am "judging a tree by the fruit it bears". My personal hope and prayer is that the RCC addresses this problem biblically - that it "comes clean" and repents, and does not try to hide the facts. This "problem" they have is an institutional problem!

Speaking for myself, if the Catholic Church does not address this properly then it simply lends support to the idea that "she" IS the Whore of Babylon.
