Iran is seeking a Deterrent

We are playing a losing game with the Iranians. While developing nuclear energy capability, they have played the IAEA, the EU, the UN are now possibly the Bush administration for fools. They claim they are developing nuclear energy for peaceful purposes and upgrading their missle technology for defensive purposes only.

Sure they can make that claim (with their fingers crossed.) As the article points out, Iran is developing a detterent to the United States threat. Through their various terrorist proxies such as Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad and Hamas, they will continue in their stated goal of destroying Israel. With a nuclear deterrent, they figure we'll be reduced to sputtering protestations. Unless George Bush is made of very stout material, we will be.

Time is running out.

Excellent description of Iran's capabilities and future military "direction".

Uzi Rubin knows his stuff!

We should be working towards an internal overthrow of Iran.
