I predict this Political/Capitalist Oligarchy we sometimes call the United States has a wild, wild ride ahead of her. While there's nothing inherently wrong with politics, and certainly nothing inherently wrong with capitalism, the two have been combined in a form no true American would agree to.
The Oligarchs, big government and big business, will continue to ride the backs of the American people, but at a much faster, frenetic pace. If you think your back is sore now, wait - it's just beginning!
U.S. governors seek $1 trillion federal assistance
(Reuters Reports) - Governors of five U.S. states urged the federal government to provide $1 trillion in aid to the country's 50 states to help pay for education, welfare and infrastructure as states struggle with steep budget deficits amid a deepening recession.
The governors of New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Ohio and Wisconsin -- all Democrats -- said the initiative for the two-year aid package was backed by other governors and follows a meeting in December where governors called on President-elect Barack Obama to help them maintain services in the face of slumping revenues.

Roseanne Barr blasts Israel as 'Nazi state'
Accuses Jews bombing Gaza of learning from their German 'mentors'
Emmy-award winning comedienne Roseanne Barr, herself of Jewish ancestry, has nonetheless blasted Israel for its recent attacks on Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip, calling Israel a "Nazi state" bent on torturing "the Jewish soul."
"The destruction of the Jews in Israel has been assured with this inhuman attack on civilians in Gaza," Barr writes on her blog. "Exactly as its Nazi mentors did to the Jews of Warsaw, Israel now bombs innocent civilians who have been imprisoned in concentration camps in Gaza!"
She continues, "The Zionists look German! The Palestinians look like the Jews of Poland! The Jewish people have destroyed themselves in Gaza."
Her venom over the attacks, however, has not been reserved only for the Israeli state, but stings American Christians, too.
Her blog posts a picture of a bloodied and bandaged boy reportedly wounded in the recent days' airstrikes with the caption, "This is what the pro-life, right wing, neo con, evangelical, Zionist, Bible-banging Americans really mean when they say: 'America is a Christian nation,' or when they say: 'Israel must defend itself,' or when they say: 'The Bible is the Word of God.'"

Beginning with the news that 6 out of 10 servicemen are "wary" concerning Obama being the Commander-In-Chief , and ending with the fact that President Bush has now given the President the ability to use active duty American forces against it's own citizenry ,the future ain't lookin too bright for John Q. Public! I don't know about your federal representatives but ours in Florida ignore the people like the plague! Their purpose in life is the lining of their own pockets and the building up of government and the big business (who pays for their reelection). After all, they are the ruling elite of the Oligarchy. Finally, after about 3 years of other folks ringing the warning bell, the slow, mentally challanged RNC has accepted the fact that George W. Bush is a Socialist! Better late than never? No, not really!
