Target And Walmart Worshipping At The Altar Of Baal

As this Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons approach, I'm once again reminded of the "reason for the season". The obvious difference between worshipping a benevolent, loving, and universal GOD to a little tin one is still lost on some. Sometimes a President, worshipping the "little tin god of Political correctness" loses his way; sometimes it's a corporation worshipping the "little twin tin gods of Profit and Political correctness".

is one such corporation. Once again Target refuses to allow the Salvation Army bell ringers to stand in front of their stores. So... to make a profit this season, it has made an attempt to "buy off" the Salvation Army with a 1 million dollar bribe. To some folks, this is like sitting on Santas lap while stabbing him in the back!

Speaking of funny things happening in laps, Walmart, having been stung repeatedly by the bad news bees last year have decided to embrace Christmas this year! Hold on! Have they regained their faith? Have they had a "come to Jesus" meeting? No... once again it's that little tin god; this time worshipping homosexuality mixed with profit.

"The Ohio woman, after hearing the shocking confirmation directly from the mega-corporation's international headquarters that the company is, in fact, contributing to the financial and moral agenda of the nation's "gay" chamber of commerce, she quit. And she's not a bit worried. "

Here's a list of Pro-Homosexual companies:

...which altar do you worship at?

I have to admit, Lady, I shop at these stores.

All companies are trying to strike a balance between ever changing social mores (good or ill) and making the "buck". They're trying to do what is acceptable to "most" of society.

The trouble is; what happens when society becomes too "evil"? And, in who's opinion?

Biblical text defines the delineation quite well. But, what about non-believers? I'm afraid it's going to get harder and harder to live in this society without questioning such activities.
