Setting Up Israel For A Fall

... secure in my mind, for a long time, is the fact that NO SOLUTIONS will be forthcoming from the Bush administration, and for that matter, Conservatives in general. Both groups seem to be unable to relate to and see current events clearly. They reject suggestions from others and rarely offer solutions of their own, stating politically correct reasons why they can't do anything; here is an exception. The Saudis will come to the rescue by helping the Americans calm the Sunnis in Iraq. The Bush administration has agreed to support whatever ruling government blooms from the Hamas/Fatah reconciliation in Palestine; even though that government won't recognize Israel.

... I spoke too soon - this is no solution - this is a cowardly SETUP!

... interestingly, the above article doesn 't mention the Saudis, a major source of terrorist funding! This PDF does!

- why is it the administration has consistently and constantly run to the Saudis for help? Ever since 9-11 Bush and Cheney have sought ole' Abdullah's "wise counsel". Wouldn't deeper, more aggressive investigation into Saudi Arabia's support of worldwide Jihad be in order? Is oil worth more than Israel's friendship?

- the Saudis are asking for more U.S. aggression in controlling Iraqi militias. We had our chance to kill al Sadr - why didn't we? After all that's happened will we NOW restart the effort to rein in these groups? Will Fallujah have to happen again? Why haven't we been aggressive all along, instead of "starts, spurts, and stops"?

- the Conservatives keep making the same mistakes over and over. We don't need to "conserve"; we need a revolution in thinking! Our friends are our friends - our enemies are our enemies - Conservatives keep confusing the two - STOP IT!
